Presentation

Dyameo develops in vitro medical diagnostic devices designed to help surgeons identify the boundaries between healthy and cancerous tissues during tumor removal surgery. This ensures that the entire tumor is removed, thereby reducing the risk of recurrence, while preserving as much of the surrounding healthy tissue as possible.

Our technology offers numerous advantages:

  • It integrates seamlessly into standard surgical practices, without requiring any additional training.
  • It provides an almost instantaneous result.
  • It requires no injection or invasive procedure.

The applications of such a tool are numerous, but above all, it is the benefit to patients that guides us every day.

A simple and innovative solution

The device

It contains all the necessary electronic and optical components required to perform the measurements needed by the surgeon. It can emit, capture, and measure light signals, providing the surgeon with a clear and instant response.

It is equipped with an optical fiber probe approximately 2 mm in diameter. The surgeon simply places the tip on the tissue for a few seconds to analyze it and determine whether it exhibits markers characteristic of tumor cells.

The Capsules

These are capsules that clip onto the tip of the probe. Their surfaces are equipped with biosensors—molecules capable of detecting specific markers and emitting a signal in response.
These biosensors react upon contact with markers characteristic of the targeted tumors, emitting a light signal that indicates the presence (or absence) of these markers in the area being analyzed by the surgeon.
